Hans Gerhard Stockinger

Hans Gerhard Stockinger (born April 22, 1950 in Schweinfurt ; † September 2, 2013 there ) was a Bavarian politician ( CSU ). From 1990 to 2008 he was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

After studying law from 1977 to 1982, Hans Gerhard Stockinger was a scientific advisor at the Hanns Seidel Foundation . There he was also involved in the works council and was chairman of the works council. From 1982 to 1987 he worked as a professor at the Catholic University of Applied Sciences in North Rhine-Westphalia in Cologne . From 1987 to 1990 he was a professor at the Würzburg-Schweinfurt University of Applied Sciences in the social affairs department. Since leaving the Bavarian State Parliament, Stockinger has worked again as a university lecturer in Würzburg.

Hans Gerhard Stockinger was a Roman Catholic, married and had three children.

politics

Hans Gerhard Stockinger was a member of the CSU and had been the district chairman of the CSU Schweinfurt-Stadt and a member of the Lower Franconia district board since 1987. For his party, he was a member of the city council of Schweinfurt from 1978 to 1990 and 1996 to 2008. There he was deputy parliamentary group leader from 1986 to 1990.

Stockinger had been a member of the state parliament since October 23, 1990. There he was a member of the committee for universities, research and culture, chairman of the data protection commission and media policy spokesman for his group. In the state elections in 2008 , he was unable to return to the state parliament as a candidate on the list for the Lower Franconia district due to the heavy loss of votes by the CSU. Stockinger was still chairman of the CSU film commission.

Other offices

Hans Gerhard Stockinger was chairman of the DJK Schweinfurt and a member of the broadcasting council of Bavarian Broadcasting .
