Hans Heesch

Hans Gustav Heesch (born December 16, 1903 in Hamburg ; † July 27, 1966 there ) was a German teacher and politician .

Life

Born as the son of a butcher, Heesch studied philosophy , history and law in Hamburg after attending the Hamburg teacher training college . During his studies he became a member of the Askania Hamburg fraternity in 1924 , which continued to exist in the Germania Königsberg fraternity in Hamburg in 1950 . He was chairman of the Hamburg General Student Committee and leader of the Hamburg German Student Union . After graduating, he worked as a teacher. In 1934 he became church chairman in Harvestehude . At the Second World War he took from 1939 to 1945 as a soldier on the front part. In 1945 he became a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Regional Synod . He was a member of the church council from 1948 to 1964 and became a member of the Hamburg citizenship in 1954 , where he was a CDU member of the Hamburg block . From 1954 he was responsible for the school supervisory districts of Altona and Othmarschen as a high school supervisor . In 1965 he became President of the Hamburg Evangelical Lutheran Regional Synod and was a member of the Synod of the Evangelical Church in Germany .
