Hans Hellhoff

Hans Hellhoff (* around 1910 in Beuthen , Upper Silesia; † April 15, 1975 in Baden-Baden ) was a German radio presenter and reporter .

Life

Hans Hellhoff studied in Heidelberg theology in Munich theater studies and German . First He gained fame as a member of the cabaret - ensemble The four Nachrichter which includes Helmut Käutner belonged. His radio career began with ORAG (Sender Königsberg), during the Second World War he was with the soldier broadcaster Belgrade , then an interpreter in Munich.

In 1946 Hellhoff came to Bremen , where he was entrusted with setting up the radio program for Radio Bremen and also worked as a reporter. In 1948 he moved to the NWDR in Hamburg and later to the SWF in Baden-Baden. From 1956 Hellhoff moderated the programs Auf ein happy weekend and Frankfurter Wecker ( HR ), Leichte Brise aus Südwest (SWF) and The illustrated record (NWDR).

Samples of his voice can be heard on Teldec LPs from the 1950s: The illustrated record , episode 1 to 4 (published by Telefunken). In addition to the intermediate moderation by Hellhoff, the records offer excerpts from hits that were current at the time.
