Hans Herold (lawyer)
Hans Herold (born January 2, 1908 in St. Gallen ; † August 8, 2002 in Zurich ) was a Swiss lawyer .
Life
Hans Herold was born on January 2, 1908 as the son of the lawyer and senior civil servant Robert Herold in St. Gallen. After attending school in St. Gallen and Bern , he studied law at the universities of Geneva , Berlin and Zurich . In Zurich, he received his doctorate in 1931 , Dr. iur. In 1935, Herold was appointed private lecturer for German and Swiss legal history , German private law and rail transport law at the University of Zurich. In 1960 he was appointed adjunct professor. As secretary of the suburb Herold dealt mainly with the trade and social legislation and made a contribution to the creation of the export risk guarantee . In addition, Herold was President of the Legal Sources Commission of the Swiss Lawyers Association from 1965 to 1991 .
Hans Herold, who married Eva Marta Zollikofer in 1938, died on August 8, 2002 at the age of 94 in Zurich.
