Hans Hinrichs (born June 15, 1848 in Esenshammergroden ; † December 3, 1912 in Detmold ) was a German councilor and publisher .

Hinrichs was the founder in 1904 and, until his death, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce for the Principality of Lippe , today the Chamber of Commerce and Industry Lippe zu Detmold.

He was the founder and owner of the Hinrichs'schen Hofbuchhandlung, which emerged in part from the Meyerschen Hofbuchhandlung assortment bookstore, which he had acquired from Wilhelm Klingenberg . His publishing house published works by Ludwig Altenbernd , Hans Kiewning and Otto Weerth, among others, at the turn of the century . The publishing business later passed to Max Staercke , who owned the Lippische Landes-Zeitung at the time .

Hans Hinrichs was made an honorary citizen of the city of Detmold on September 23, 1909. Due to a municipal decision of February 17, 1913, the former Steinoßstraße in Detmold was renamed Hans-Hinrichs-Straße . He was married to Minna Hinrichs, b. Lohmann (1849-1929).
