Hans Jahrmärker
Hans Jahrmärker (born January 3, 1921 in Marburg , † January 19, 2001 in Munich ) was a German cardiologist.
Life
As the son of the psychiatrist Maximilian Jahrmärker , he studied medicine at the Philipps University of Marburg after completing his Reich Labor Service . At the same time he was a soldier in the Wehrmacht throughout the Second World War , most recently as a field doctor . He became a member of camaraderie Carl Allmenröder as the Marburg Corps , the era of National Socialism survived. On May 6, 1944, he was reciprocated with the Corps Teutonia Marburg . After taking the state examination in 1946 and becoming a Dr. med. He was an assistant doctor at the internal clinic at the University Hospital Marburg . In 1955/56 he was a fellow of the Fulbright program in the United States . Since 1957 at the Inner City Clinic of the University of Munich , he completed his habilitation in cardiology in 1963 . 1968 named him Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich to associate professor . He headed cardiological intensive care medicine until 1986 and sat on the ethics committee of his faculty. Since 1951 he was with the doctor Dr. Ursula Weckesser married, who gave him a daughter in 1957.
