Hans Joachim Therstappen
Hans Joachim Therstappen (born August 1, 1905 in Bremen , † March 28, 1950 in Hamburg ) was a German musicologist.
Life
After receiving his doctorate in 1931 ( The development of form in Schubert's illustrated in the first movements of his symphonies ) at Kiel University and his habilitation ( Joseph Haydn's London Symphony ) in Kiel in 1939 , he taught musicology (history and theory ) from 1939 to 1946 as a lecturer of music) and from 1946 to 1948 as an adjunct professor for musicology (history and theory of music) at the University of Hamburg .
