Hans Kronberger (* 9. May 1951 in Hall bei Admont , Styria , † 14. July 2018 in Vienna ) was an Austrian -fiction book - Author and politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

Hans Kronberger studied journalism and ethnology at the University of Vienna from 1971 to 1979 and was awarded a Dr. phil. PhD. From 1979 to 1982 he worked as an editor at the Extrablatt magazine and from 1981 was lecturer for environmental journalism at the University of Salzburg . From 1982 to 1996 he worked for the ORF (editorial team “Arguments”, “Citizens' Forum”, “ Conflicts ”). In 1995 he received the European Solar Prize for Journalism.

From 1996 to 2004 he was a member of the European Parliament for the FPÖ in the Committee on Environmental Issues, Public Health and Consumer Protection, but only became a party member in May 2004. Kronberger was President of Photovoltaic Austria since April 2008 . Kronberger died on July 14, 2018 in Vienna. He left two children.
