Hall also Hall bei Admont is a former municipality with 1744 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2014) in Styria in the judicial district or district of Liezen . Since 2015 it has been merged with the communities of Admont , Johnsbach and Weng im Gesäuse under the name Admont as part of the Styrian community structural reform .

The district of Hall has an area of 50.73 km² and is located at the foot of the Haller Walls , on the left bank of the Enns , exactly opposite Admont .
history
Hall is considered to be the oldest salt spring in Styria (mentioned in documents in 931), a typical Hall name for salt production. The salt pans were in operation until 1543.

The municipal coat of arms was awarded with effect from January 1, 1984.
