Hans Lackner (politician)

Hans Lackner , actually Johann Lackner (born May 29, 1928 - December 31, 2001 in Vienna ), was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ )

Life

Hans Lackner was the head of the Sports Department of the City of Vienna and, after Reinhold Suttner, District Chairman of Liesing . He held the office of district chairman from March 28, 1968 to June 1, 1983. Heinrich Haberl followed him into the office.

Honors

The Hans-Lackner-Halle, a circular gym in Atzgersdorf , is named after him.

Hans Lackner was buried on January 16, 2002 at Atzgersdorfer Friedhof , Group 1, Row 4, Grave 15.
