Hans Lafrenz

Hans Lafrenz (born May 14, 1938 in Hamburg ) is a German CDU politician .

Life

Lafrenz attended elementary school from 1944 to 1948 and the scientific high school from 1948 to 1957 , where he graduated from high school . This was followed by studies and the main diploma at the Technical University of Munich (Faculty of Construction, Faculty of Architecture) from 1957 to 1964 . From 1964 to 1966 he worked as a freelancer for the architect Peter C. von Seidlein. This was followed by a position as a construction trainee from 1966 to 1967 and the second state examination with the government of Upper Bavaria (subject urban development).

From 1968 he was employed in the city planning department of Hamburg's district office in Mitte . In 1969 he moved to the building and urban development authorities as well as the state planning office, where he stayed until 1998.

He has been married since 1962, has two children and has retired in 1999.

politics

Lafrenz has been a member of the CDU since 1980. Until 1998 he was chairman of the CDU local association Hamburg-Nienstedten and was a deputy of the building authorities.

From 2005 to 2011 he was a member of the Hamburg Parliament . There he sat for his parliamentary group in the budget committee, culture committee, urban development committee and in the committee for information and communication technology and administrative modernization.

The CDU local association in Nienstedten nominated Lafrenz as a candidate for 2008 citizenship at an early stage at the end of January.
