Hans List (architect)

Hans List (born June 28, 1880 in Munich ; † after 1941) was a German architect .

Life

After Hans List had studied in Munich, he worked in London and Paris from 1904 to 1907 and then returned to his hometown.

From 1911 List worked in Hanover.

After completing his studies, the architect Ernst Friedrich Brockmann worked as an employee for Friedrich Fischer and until 1942 for Hans List.

Works

Hans List expanded numerous houses in Hanover, including

  • 1925: Café Jahns in Hanover, Georgstraße 40 ;
  • 1928/29: Dr. Braun in Kleefeld , Wallmodenstrasse 39 ;
  • 1930: House Kuhlemann in Hannover-Kleefeld , Bemeroder Straße 158
  • 1930/31:
    • together with Hans Nitzschke : Steintorhalle in Hanover
    • “Together with Weber”: conversion of the Stern pharmacy on Hildesheimer Straße
    • together with Hans Nitzschke: Briquette advice center in Hanover
