Hans Mahrenholtz (genealogist)

Hans Mahrenholtz (also: Hanns Mahrenholtz and Hans Mahrenholz ; * February 12, 1909 in Carlsdorf ; † December 10, 2000 in Hanover ) was a German farmer and genealogist with places of activity in Carlsdorf, Naumburg, Hanover and Aurich .

Life

Hans Mahrenholtz, who was still born at the time of the German Empire , was employed in the Protestant church registry office for the East based in Hanover from 1951 after the Second World War . From 1956 he was managing director of the Lower Saxony Homeland Association .

From 1958 to 1961 Mahrenholtz worked for the East Frisian Landscape in Aurich, then from 1961 for the Hanoverian Agricultural Employer's Liability Insurance Association .

With the lawyer and genealogist Gebhard von Lenthe and others, Hans Mahrenholtz published a number of writings, in particular on the Lower Saxon nobility and other sexes .
