Hans Pfaffenberger
Hans Pfaffenberger (born May 27, 1922 in Nuremberg ; † March 1, 2012 in Trier ) was a German psychologist and social work scientist .
Pfaffenberger studied psychology at the University of Münster until 1948 (degree: qualified psychologist) with Wolfgang Metzger , among others , then worked in home education and educational counseling until 1954 and was also a lecturer and head of socio-educational training centers in Mannheim and Düsseldorf . In 1959 he received his doctorate from the University of Heidelberg . From 1968 to 1977 he taught at the University of Konstanz , from 1978 on he was a professor at the University of Trier . His subject area was: social pedagogy and social work as a profession and scientific discipline . He conducted research on the topics of the welfare state and social work science .
Pfaffenberger was the bearer of the Marie Juchacz plaque .
