Hans Andrew Pienitz (born January 27, 1988 in Miami , Florida ) is an American - German ice hockey player who has been under contract with SC Langenthal in the National League B since the 2013/14 season .

Career

Hans Pienitz began his career as an ice hockey player with the young eagles Mannheim , for whom he was active from 2004 to 2006 in the German junior league and with whom he won the DNL championship three times in a row. The defender then moved to the GCK Lions , for whose professional team he was active in the Swiss National League B from 2006 to 2010 . In the 2009/10 season he also came five times for the ZSC Lions in the National League A used.

For the 2010/11 season , Pienitz was signed by the Hamburg Freezers from the German Ice Hockey League .

In 2011/12 and 2012/13 he played in Switzerland at the EHC Basel Sharks in the National League B . The second season in Basel he finished with SC Langenthal, to which he moved to the 2013/14 season.

International

For Germany , Pienitz took part in the 2006 U18 World Junior Championship .
