Hans Rahner

Hans Rahner (born March 28, 1905 in Vienna , † December 1, 2008 in Bad Segeberg ) was an Austrian composer and piano virtuoso .

He has published numerous film and television compositions for Peter Alexander and Udo Jürgens, among others, and is known to the public as the "oldest active bar pianist in the world" who, at the age of over 100, still performed weekly in a Hamburg coffee house belonging to the Mövenpick group .

He was married to the film actress Herta Staal and last lived in Bad Segeberg near Hamburg .
