Hans Sachse (Goethe researcher)
Hans Sachse (born June 6, 1906 in Berlin ; † December 6, 1985 in Elmshorn ) was a German doctor and Goethe researcher .
In 1945 he survived the sinking of the refugee ship " Steuben ". After the Second World War , Sachse was a member of the Goethe Society in Weimar and also emerged as a Goethe researcher. He published several books about Goethe.
His Goethe library came to the Herzog August Library in Wolfenbüttel as part of the estate under Paul Raabe .
