Hans Sandkuhl

Hans Sandkuhl (born December 29, 1877 in Münster , † January 15, 1954 in Berleburg ) was a German local politician and honorary district administrator ( CDU ).

Life and work

After attending school, he completed an apprenticeship as a carpenter . From 1910 to 1920 Sandkuhl was a police officer in Neheim-Hüsten and in Berleburg. From 1920 to 1954 he ran a hotel in Berleburg. He was married and had six children.

He was a member of the district council of the Wittgenstein district from January 1946 to October 1948. From February 26, 1946 to October 26, 1948, he was district administrator of the district. Sandkuhl was active in numerous CDU committees. From 1948 until his death he was honorary chairman of the CDU district association.
