Hans Schaller (cameraman)

Hans Schaller (* 1911 in Berlin , † 1966 ) was a German cameraman , photojournalist , a press photographer , still photographer and personal photographer of the actor Heinz Rühmann .

Life

His photo studio was located at 4 Düsseldorfer Strasse in West Berlin.

From 1930 Hans Schaller also worked as the personal photographer of his friend, the actor Heinz Rühmann.

The photographic estate of Hans Schaller is located in the picture archive of Preussischer Kulturbesitz / Staatsbibliothek zu Berlin (499 photos by Hans Albers , Gary Cooper , Marlene Dietrich , Gustaf Gründgens , Curd Jürgens , Heinz Rühmann and Shirley Temple , among others ), in the photo archive of the Deutsche Kinemathek based in Berlin and in the historical archive of the German Museum of Technology in Berlin .

His cinematic legacy is among other things in the film archive of the Federal Archives in Berlin.

In addition, there are numerous film and photo recordings by Hans Schaller in Heinz Rühmann's estate.
