Hans Stelter (* 13. October 1895 in Oberhausen , † after 1941 ) was a German journalist, publicist and ethnically - Nazi politician .

Life

After attending primary and secondary school in Oberhausen, Stelter took part in the World War. After the war, Stelter studied history, economics and philosophy at the University of Berlin. He also worked as an editor, u. a. at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Zeitung , the Kreuzzeitung and the Deutsche Zeitung . He became editor-in - chief of the Berlin-Wilhelmshagen- based Deutsche Tageblatt , whose publisher he became on April 1, 1923. He also wrote many essays and books on the young German völkisch movement.

Stelter has been one of the leading members of the DFVP since it was founded . After the election in May 1924 , he entered the Reichstag on the Reich election proposal for the National Socialist Freedom Party , to which he belonged for the second electoral term .

On April 1, 1941, Stelter joined the NSDAP .

After the end of the war, Steltes book Völkische Kulturarbeiten (1924) was placed on the list of literature to be sorted out in the GDR .
