An urban bolo .

Hans Widmer (* 1947 ) is a Swiss author and philologist .

Life

Under the pseudonym P. M. (the most common initials in the Swiss telephone directory; mostly written in lower case: p. M. ) Widmer was best known for his anarchist and anti-capitalist social utopia bolo'bolo , published in 1983 .

In bolo'bolo , a bolo is an autonomous group of a few hundred ibus (people) who are united by their common interest in a certain “nima” (for example: mentality ). Individual ibus can change bolos and must be treated hospitably. The term belongs to a fictitious planned language (rather just a basic vocabulary) called asa'pili , which is to be used in a global community based on bolos .

In addition, Widmer was active in the squatter and commune scene in Zurich . To this day he is active in the building and housing cooperative KraftWerk1, which he co-founded in 1995 , an eco-social urban municipality.
