Hans von Bemberg (born April 1, 1892 at Flamersheim Castle - today part of Euskirchen -, Euskirchen district ; † December 28, 1958 in Bonn ) was a farmer on the Ringsheim and Flamersheim estates , which his great-grandmother, Caroline Bemberg, née. Wülfing, acquired in 1861.

From 1945 Hans von Bemberg was chairman of the Rhenish Association for Lowland Cattle Breeding (RVT), which later became the Rhenish Association for Black Holstein cattle breeding, which was merged into the Rinder-Union West eG in Münster in 1993 . He had acquired a special reputation in the Eifel as a good housekeeper and Holstein breeder. On his initiative, the association had adjusted to the then new breeding goal, a medium-weight, economical cattle with good milk fat production. Other German Holstein breeding areas are now also pursuing this goal.

On the occasion of his 60th birthday, the Rhineland Chamber of Agriculture donated the Hans von Bemberg Prize on April 1, 1952 , which he was the first to receive in 1952. The undoped prize is awarded annually by the North Rhine-Westphalia Chamber of Agriculture to breeders for top performance in the field of animal breeding.
