profile

The radio play publisher hanseklang ( LC 30617) sees itself as an underground. He dispenses with outside interference from advertising media, well-known production companies or distributors in order to maintain complete control over all publisher content. It is part of the publishing house concept to address environmental problems or social grievances in the environmental sector. To this end, the publisher works with nature conservation associations such as the BUND Schleswig-Holstein or Viva con Agua de St. Pauli . In the first year of its existence, the publisher also acted as a label for the Hamburg kitchen sessions by Jens Pfeifer, who soon founded his own label.

team

The owner is Carsten Díaz (born Purfürst; married name since July 2014), who works as an author and director for the publishing house under the pseudonym "Hannes Moorhahn". In addition to Carsten Díaz, the hanseklang team includes his brother Jörg Purfürst (music and recording manager), Felix Halbe (music and production) and Jens Pfeifer (production). Other members are Erik Mielenz (graphics) and Ingo Nehls (webmaster).

Productions

Radio play series "Blue Planet"

The radio play series Blauer Planet comprises ten episodes for listeners aged 16 and over. All speakers and other participants such as authors or composers work on a voluntary basis. The term “EcoHorror” was coined for this series of radio plays, which puts the overexploitation of nature by humans at the center of the action. Elements of fantasy, mystery and science fiction merge in a complex narrative structure, which also has temporal jumps and a large number of acting characters, which requires a high level of concentration to follow the action.

The speakers for the series include a. Peter Heppner , Sonja Kirchberger , Charly Hübner , Anneke Kim Sarnau , Christoph M. Ohrt and Joachim Witt .

After the first episode 1 appeared in the literary magazine Bücher, Heinz-Peter Göldner commented : "Two parallel levels of action, about which nothing conclusive can be said after the first episode, round off the extremely positive overall picture of the first episode and inspire further sequels."

"The little goblin Schnapf"

Five episodes of the radio play series "Der kleine Kobold Schnapf" have so far been released on two CDs. It is suitable for children from the age of four. The little goblin Schnapf lives in a tree hollow deep in the Grimmerholz. He is a lazy man and loves blueberry crepes, which nobody can prepare as delicious as Captain Knurrhahn, whose boat was once stranded on the coast of the Cheese Sea, and who is often visited by little goblin Schnapf and his best friend, the unicorn Lupine becomes. The inhabitants of the Grimmerholz lead a peaceful life - until the people set up a rubbish dump on the edge of the forest and thus help Schnapf on his first adventure.

When reviewing the first three episodes, the reviewer came to the conclusion: "Three child-friendly, fun and exciting adventures by Schnapf and Lupine, which discreetly draw attention to the fact that one has to be careful with nature."

Waldensteyn

The "live" radio play "Wäldensteyn" (also "Keyn Schlaf bis Wäldensteyn") is a steampunk satire. It describes the surreal dream journey of a sociologist to the fictional duchy of Wäldensteyn. The plot is reminiscent of a detective radio play, but reduces its tendency to logic ad absurdum, in which possible contexts are dismantled instead of forming them into a congruent story.

The fjord

"The Fjord" is a mystery drama with fantasy elements and is the story of a young war veteran who gets caught up in a conflict with his brother over a stranger from another time. The first episode of the planned three-part series was released on March 1st, the 2nd episode on November 1st, 2016, the 3rd episode on June 15th, 2018. The main role of Filip Johansen will be spoken by Roman Knižka .
