Johannes Biebl

Johannes "Hansi" Biebl (born February 20, 1945 in Berlin ) is a German rock musician and singer.

Life

Biebl graduated from high school and learned the trade of radio mechanic. He played with the Reichert Combo in 1964 and with the Atlantics in 1965 . From 1966 to 1969 he completed his training in guitar and dance music at the Friedrichshain Music School in East Berlin and was guitarist with the Berolina Singers (1966/67), the Alexanders (1967), the Modern Soul Band (1968–1971), the Klaus Lenz-Band (1971/72) and with the Lakomy Ensemble (1972/73).

In 1974 he founded the Johannes Biebl Blues Band, which was banned from performing in 1975 , in 1976 he played with Veronika Fischer & Band. In 1977 he won the Grand Prix of the International Schlager Festival in Dresden with the 4 PS group . From 1978 he performed with the Hansi Biebl Band .

Biebl moved to West Berlin in 1984 , where he performed with Gerulf Pannach , among others . In 1987 he moved to Bremen . Since 1990 he has been giving concerts mainly in the new federal states.
