successes

Harald Hagen, member of the Kongelig Norsk Seilforening , took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in the 8-meter class as a crew member on the Norwegian yacht Béra . Already in the first race, the Béra managed to qualify for the semifinals, so that fourth place in the second race only had statistical value. In the third race, which was the first of two semi-finals, the Béra crossed the finish line first as well as in the fourth race. This made Hagen, like the other crew members Carl Ringvold junior , Rick Bockelie , Ingar Nielsen and Carl Ringvold senior , who skippered the Béra , Olympic champion .
