successes

Carl Ringvold junior, member of Kongelig Norsk Seilforening , took part in the 1924 Olympic Games in Paris in the 8-meter class as a crew member on the Norwegian yacht Béra . Already in the first race off Le Havre , the Béra managed to qualify for the semi-finals, so that fourth place in the second race only had statistical value. In the third race, which was the first of two semi-finals, the Béra crossed the finish line first as well as in the fourth race. Ringvold, like the other crew members Rick Bockelie , Harald Hagen , Ingar Nielsen and his father Carl Ringvold senior , who skippered the Béra , became Olympic champions .
