Gert Beinemann
Gert Beinemann (born June 15, 1918 ) is a German actor , director , artistic director and radio play speaker .
Life
In the first half of the 1940s, Gert Beinemann had an engagement as an actor at the German National Theater in Weimar . After the Second World War he gave private acting lessons in Halberstadt and worked there at the Volkstheater . From 1952 he worked as an actor in the Berliner Ensemble , from there in 1957 he went to the Berlin Maxim Gorki Theater , where he also directed. In 1961 he was appointed artistic director at the Altenburg State Theater . From 1965 Gert Beinemann worked again at the German National Theater in Weimar as an actor and director, before he worked there from 1973 to 1987 as general director for 14 years.
