Walter Jupé
Walter Jupé (born April 6, 1916 in Berlin ; † November 16, 1985 there ) was a German actor , screenwriter and dramaturge .
Life
After training as an actor with Helene Lackner, Jupé made his debut on a stage in Oldenburg in 1943, then played in Weimar when he moved to East Berlin's Maxim-Gorki-Theater in 1952 , where he worked as an actor until 1982. In addition to his stage work, Jupé also started a film and television career in the mid-1950s at DEFA and the television of the GDR , often playing negative characters in historical films, such as in the television film Die Affäre Heyde-Sawade (1963). In addition, he also played in cheerful subjects and contemporary strips.
Together with the author Friedrich Karl Kaul , he wrote over 40 episodes of the crime TV episodes in which historical criminal cases were dealt with. Jupé shone in the successful television series of the DFF as a writer and leading actor. Some episodes were later also implemented in feature films, such as Living Goods (1966) or The Murder That Never Limits (1967).
