Harald Letnik (born March 6, 1982 ) is a former Austrian soccer goalkeeper and now coach .

Career

As a player

Letnik started his career at SV Gratwein-Straßengel . For the 1995/96 season he moved to FC Gratkorn , where he later also played in the fighting team. With Gratkorn he rose to the second division in 2004 . For the Styrians, however, he did not come to the second division. For the 2006/07 season he moved to the regional division SV Bad Aussee . For Bad Aussee he made 28 appearances in the regional league during that season . With the club he rose to the end of the season as champion of the regional league middle in the second division. He made his second-top division debut in August 2007 when he was substituted on for Daniel Kogler on matchday three of the 2007/08 season against the second team of FC Red Bull Salzburg in stoppage time after one-goal goalie Dominik Seiwald was sent off with a red card had been. By the end of the season Letnik made five second division appearances. With the Styrians, however, he rose to the bottom of the table after only one season back in the regional league. In the following season 2008/09 he came to 29 regional league appearances.

For the 2009/10 season he moved to league rivals SVL Flavia Solva . For South Styria he made 25 regional league appearances, but with the club he had to relegate from the third highest division at the end of the season. He then joined the fourth-class ASKÖ Stinatz for the 2010/11 season . In the Burgenland League he made 27 appearances for Stinatz. For the 2011/12 season Letnik moved back to Styria to the fourth-class SV Frohnleiten . After six months with Frohnleiten and six appearances in the regional league , he moved to league competitor SV Wildon in January 2012 . For Wildon he came to five more appearances in the national league by the end of the season.

For the 2012/13 season he returned to Gratkorn, where he should play for the second team in the regional league and also acted as assistant coach of the second team and youth coach. At the end of the season he rose with Gratkorn II in the league . He ended his career during the winter break of the 2013/14 season. In the 2016/17 season he made a short comeback at FC Ausseerland and played two games in the sixth class sub-division .

As a trainer

After working in Gratkorn, he moved to the Grazer AK for the 2013/14 season , where he was coach of the U-13s. After a season at GAK, he became head coach of the sixth-class second team at ASK Voitsberg for the 2014/15 season , and he also became assistant coach for the first team. In October 2014 Voitsberg separated from him. He then returned to the youth of the GAK in November 2014.

In September 2016 he became the coach of the fourth-class SV Frohnleiten , where he was also active as a player. With Frohnleiten, he was relegated to the league at the end of the 2016/17 season . In September 2017, Frohnleiten separated from Letnik. For the 2018/19 season he was youth coach at FC Gleisdorf 09 . For the 2019/20 season he was the coach of the second-class LUV Graz women .
