Hardieopteridae is a family of the suborder Stylonurina from the order of the sea scorpions (Eurypterida).
features
In the species from the Hardieopteridae family, the metastoma had a notch at the rear end and lateral pleuras. The prosomal limbs II to IV are unknown, V was spiky and VI not ( Hardieopterus type). The telson was club-shaped.
Locations
Representatives of the Hardieopteridae family have been found in North America (states New York and Pennsylvania ) and Europe ( Germany , England and Scotland ).
