Hardy Myers
Hardy Myers (born October 25, 1939 in Electric Mills , Kemper County , Mississippi , † November 29, 2016 in Portland , Oregon ) was an American lawyer and politician ( Democratic Party ).
From 1975 to 1985 he was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives , from 1979 to 1983 he was its speaker . After a successful election, he was sworn into the office of Attorney General on January 24, 1997 . He was the 15th Attorney General of the state of Oregon . He was re-elected to this position twice. His third term ended on January 4, 2009.
