Andrew M. Crawford

Andrew Murray Crawford (born January 29, 1853 in Cannonsville , New York , † January 29, 1925 ) was an American lawyer and politician .

Career

Not much is known about Andrew Murray Crawford. His youth were overshadowed by the civil war. At some point he moved to Oregon . Crawford was studying law . After receiving his license to practice law, he practiced in Portland ( Multnomah County ). He joined the Republican Party . In 1897 he was a member of the Oregon House of Representatives . Crawford was elected Attorney General of Oregon in 1902 . He was re-elected in 1906 and 1910. He took up his post on January 13, 1903 and held it until January 3, 1915.

He was a member of the Episcopal Church and a Freemason .
