Hardy Rawls
Hardy Rawls (born November 18, 1952 in Florida , USA ) is an American actor.
Hardy Rawls first appeared as the actor Bull McKenzie in the film DARYL - The Extraordinary (1985), but he only became really famous in the role of Don Wrigley (Dad) from the surrealist television series Pete & Pete (The Adventures of Pete & Pete) which aired in three seasons from 1993 to 1996 on children's television network Nickelodeon . He was also seen in various commercials. Starting in 2003, Rawls replaced Gordon Jump for household appliance manufacturer Maytag Corporation as a lonely customer service technician who had nothing to do because Maytag's products were simply unbreakable. He embodied the advertising character until 2007.
