Harold Moody
Harold Moody ( Harold Ernest Arundel Moody ; born November 1, 1915 in Camberwell , † September 12, 1986 in Auckland , New Zealand ) was a British shot putter and discus thrower .
In 1948 he retired from qualifying in the Olympic Games in London shot put .
At the British Empire Games in Auckland in 1950 he won silver in the shot put for England and was seventh in the discus throw.
He set his personal best in the shot put of 14.32 m on February 27, 1950 in Nelson .
