Harris Gut is a so-called ghaut ( gut ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , on St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The river has its source in the north of St. Kitts, high on the slope of Mount Liamuiga . Together with other source streams, it runs down the steep slope to the north and soon flows into the Caribbean Sea at Saddlers in the Harris Village settlement near the Black Rocks .
On the south side of the island there is the Harris Gut of the same name .
