Harris Gut is a so-called ghaut ( gut ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , on St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The river has its source south of St. Kitts, high on the slopes of Olivees Mountain . In the west, the catchment area of the French River joins, while in the east the next temporary stream Gillews Gut forms the border with the Parish Saint George Basseterre .
On the north side of the island there is the Harris Gut of the same name .
