Harrison Craig (born September 7, 1994 in Melbourne ) is an Australian pop singer. He was best known as the winner of the second season of the talent show The Voice in 2013 .

biography

Harrison Craig has suffered from stuttering since childhood, and when his mother discovered he had a talent for singing, she enrolled him in the Victorian Boys Choir and organized singing lessons for him. When he was 18, he applied to the talent show The Voice . He was one of four participants who entered the top 50 of the Australian charts with his song from the Blind Auditions , Broken Vow by Lara Fabian . Each of his other songs also made it into the charts. Craig was voted on in all rounds by the audience and finally won the final ahead of Luke Kennedy , who had already been a professional singer with the Ten Tenors .

After the finale, his songs Unchained Melody and More Than a Dream just missed the top of the chart with second and third place. The show album with the recordings of the songs from the various rounds reached number one two weeks later and stayed there for two weeks. It was also awarded platinum . The album also reached number one in New Zealand.
