plant

His work on Chinese law, in which he shows the close interweaving of the Chinese legal system with the party ideology of the Communist Party of China, the eminent importance of Sinomarxism is still of importance, even if it has not yet been noticed by the wider public the present time.

Human rights

Harro von Senger has published numerous publications on human rights . Topics include the change in meaning of the word “human” as part of the word “human rights” in the 200 years since the French Revolution and the question of whether ancient China, especially the Confucian school of thought , had a concept of human being that also encompassed women.

In addition to the history of human rights, he also deals with Sino-Marxist human rights positions of the Chinese government, which are largely based on UNO documents, and points out that the People's Republic of China occupies a strong position at the global level within the framework of the United Nations, namely in the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva , a fact that is rarely dealt with in the West.

He also draws attention to the fact that Western states and the People's Republic of China represent the same positions in the Human Rights Council on a majority of substantive human rights issues. However, according to Senger, European states seem to be keeping secret from their peoples the large Sino-European intersection of common human rights positions. In their human rights pronouncements, these states would give their peoples the impression that there is only a huge gap between European and Chinese human rights positions, which European states would have to struggle to bridge. He also points to the unresolved way in which European states deal with valid, but rejected by the West, resolutions of the UN Human Rights Council and the UN Human Rights Commission. In addition, he investigated the question of why the United Kingdom and thus Europe approved the European Convention on Human Rights (in force since 1953). B. to the Falkland Islands and St. Helena, but never to Hong Kong and have thus wasted a unique historical opportunity to help European human rights values to break through on Chinese soil. Not only the strategic analysis carried out by the authorities in the People's Republic of China and the defense against Western criticism of human rights against the PRCh, but also the realization of individual human rights by individual Chinese people in ancient and contemporary China, not with the help of the law, but with the help of Stratagems are the subject of his research.

In a publication in 1998 he compared the thesis of the then German Federal President Roman Herzog of the universality of a small, non-negotiable core area of human rights to the UN position, which stipulates the universal, equal validity of all - political, economic, social, cultural, individual and collective - Highlights human rights.

Moulüe - super planning

In his work Moulüe - Supraplanung. He places unrecognized horizons of thought from the Middle Kingdom (Munich 2008) into the larger overall context of the Chinese art of planning known as Moulüe , introduces the two 100-year goals of the Chinese Communist Party and illuminates the underestimated in the West, at the beginning of the 21st century Century in the People's Republic of China no less than in Mao Zedong's time the decisive role of Sinomarxism as a “guideline for its actions” used by the Chinese Communist Party. At the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg , Harro von Senger supervised what was possibly the first western doctoral thesis on “super-planning”.

Master Sun's war canon

In his German translation of " Sun Zi Bingfa " under the title " Master Sun's War Canon " , Harro von Senger shows, based on a verbatim translation of a key phrase - as far as is known for the first time worldwide - that this oldest military treaty in the world is the origin of the Chinese Moulüe (Supra planning) can be viewed
