Harry Broos
Harry Broos (actually Henricus Adrianus Broos ; born May 25, 1898 in Roosendaal , † July 16, 1954 in Eindhoven ) was a Dutch sprinter .
At the Olympic Games in Paris in 1924, he won bronze with the Dutch team in the 4 x 100 meter relay . He reached the quarter-finals over 100 m and 200 m .
In 1928 he came to the Olympic Games in Amsterdam over 400 m in the semifinals and over 200 m in the quarter-finals. In the 4 x 100 meter relay, he was eliminated in the preliminary run.
He was national champion over 100 m five times (1921, 1923, 1924, 1925, 1928), three times over 200 m (1922, 1923, 1924) and 400 m (1927, 1928, 1929) and once in the long jump (1921).
