Harry Gunnar Stierle (born May 7, 1954 in Bielefeld ) is a German consultant , publicist and entrepreneur .

career path

After internships at home and abroad, Stierle began his professional career in 1976 in Malente as a publisher and editor of a weekly newspaper and the monthly “Youth Magazine for Ostholstein”.

In 1981 he settled in Bad Salzuflen as a freelance consultant in the social and health sector. He initially focused on owner-managed outpatient care facilities. At the end of the 1980s, he initiated the interdisciplinary consultancy cooperation "MED PLAN TEAM". With her he also organized consultancy days for doctors. During the fall of the Berlin Wall he was given the task of restructuring polyclinics in the former German Democratic Republic. He made it possible for their employees to exchange experiences with West German companies via the “MED PLAN TEAM”.

In the 1990s he programmed the software “SAIPAS” (simulation, analysis, information, planning, evaluation, control) and then sold it through the marketing agency “Doc's Net GmbH ”, which he co-founded . The program was used, among other things, in group practices, tax consultancy firms and banks to penetrate high-investment start-ups, assess large practices and later also practice renovations.

In 1991 the "Verlag Norman Rentrop " published his first book "How do I make myself self-employed as a doctor". In it he summarized his experience as a consultant in the establishment and development of medical practices. From 1995 he published several specialist periodicals on practice management for doctors and dentists. In 1998 the first manual on “Quality Management in the Doctor's and Dental Practice” followed. A year later he worked with co-authors such as Bertram Häussler from the “IGES Institute” and Peter Röhrig from the “Brendan Schmittmann Foundation” to develop the “Guidelines for Quality Management in Medical Practices” initiated by the Federal Ministry of Health . He published around 700 articles on economic and health policy topics in around 40 specialist publications, e.g. B. on cross-sectoral forms of care ( integrated care ) in the business section of the journal “Der Hausarzt”, which he wrote.

Stierle advised several professional associations such as the "Central Association of Medical-Technical Dealers, Manufacturers, Service Providers and Consultants eV" for integrated care and networking in the health care system and the "Federal Association of Private Doctors" for association work. In addition, he was a long-term cooperation partner of the "Hartmannbund - Association of Doctors in Germany eV".

After the turn of the millennium, he expanded his focus to the content and implementation of preventive projects. In 2002 he planned the national award “ German Prevention Award” on behalf of the “ Bertelsmann Foundation ”. As head of the office of the “GbR Bertelsmann Foundation, Federal Ministry of Health and Federal Center for Health Education”, he introduced him to the market in four competition years from 2004 to 2007.

In 2005 he founded a development and operating company for the social network "VORBILDER" with the software entrepreneur Holger Thamm. Two years later they made the online platform available to excellent projects for presentation, communication, networking and the transfer of their know-how . In 2008 he published his concept for the know-how transfer of excellent projects. In 2010 this became the basis of the project idea of ​​a Saxon transfer agency, which was awarded by the European Social Fund.

After 2008, Stierle gradually withdrew from his company. Today he is dedicated to Vlotho- Steinbründorf of Photography and the Art and expression painting .
