Harry Oelke
Harry Karl Otto Oelke (* 1957 ) is a German church historian .
Life
After graduating from high school in Barsinghausen in 1976 , he studied German , Protestant theology , sociology , pedagogy and English in Kiel and London (1986 state examination and 1990 faculty examination and doctorate in Protestant theology at the University of Kiel ). After completing his habilitation in Kiel in 1999, he has been professor of church history at the University of Munich since 2002 .
His main research interests are Reformation, Denominational Era and Church History.
