Hartmut Bachmann

Hartmut Bachmann (born July 8, 1924 in Berlin ) is a German manager , business journalist and climate change denier . He is known for his conspiracy theoretic theses.

Life

Hartmut Bachmann studied aerodynamics and meteorology and was used as a fighter pilot in World War II . After 1945 he completed training to become a dairy specialist and master. Until 1957 he worked in industrial milk production . He also studied at the German University of Politics in Berlin. He then received electroplating training in his parents' company, Riedel & Co. He headed milk centers in Baden-Württemberg and was the managing director of Saar-Milch GmbH .

He founded other companies in Switzerland and the USA, where he lived from the 1970s. In the 1980s he was CEO of a company in the USA that manufactured air conditioning units . The company manufactured the ECP (environmental control package) as its main product, which was supported by the US Energy Savings Program. He claims to have contributed to the establishment of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) during the negotiations in the USA . Later he was chairman of the board of a US economic institute.

Bachmann is a state critic and climate change denier who, among other things, questions the greenhouse effect . In 2003 his book Die Reformverhinderer was reviewed in the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung . He was u. a. invited to presentations by the Ring of Freedom Youth Austria (RfJ). From March 24, 2009 to March 14, 2012 he published in the collective blog FreieWelt.net. He also wrote for the national conservative Schweizerzeit and is the editor of the economic policy news from Brussels tips . He has appeared on 3sat , but also on the conspiracy-theoretical internet television company Alpenparlament.tv and events organized by the anti-censorship coalition (AZK) around Ivo Sasek . In an interview with Michael Vogt (2009) on Secret TV , he claimed that the Greens were "a tool of the US oil industry".

He is mentioned in the media as one of the relevant rumors in connection with Bettina Wulff .
