Hartmut Brun

Hartmut Brun (born August 23, 1950 in Dömitz ) is a German publicist and literary researcher .

Life

Hartmut Brun learned the trade of a steel ship builder and then worked as a locksmith , workshop master and department manager in a construction company. In 1990 he was mayor of Polz , where he lived , and in 1992 he worked for the Ludwigslust district administration . From 1996 Brun worked as a lecturer at educational institutions in Ludwigslust and Neustadt-Glewe . From 2004 to 2010 he managed the school camp in Lenzen / Elbe .

Hartmut Brun has been a journalist since 1979. One focus of his work is the Griese area in the southwest of Mecklenburg. At the end of the 1980s, Brun published books with works by Johannes Gillhoff and Richard Giese , whose works had not previously appeared in the GDR for several decades. He has been on the board of the Fritz Reuter Society since 1995 and chairman of the Johannes Gillhoff Society since 2000 .
