Harun Toprak (born August 24, 1987 in Ravensburg , Baden-Württemberg ) is a former German-Turkish soccer player . During his career he played mainly for German amateur teams as well as in professional leagues in Turkey and Switzerland . He is an older brother of the Turkish national player Ömer Toprak .

Career

Harun Toprak started in Ravensburg in the youth teams of TSB and FV and later in SSV Ulm in 1846 with football. In 2006 Toprak left Ulm and returned to FV Ravensburg as a senior player, until he switched to SC Pfullendorf a year later , for whom he gained his first experience in amateur football. After two and a half seasons he moved to Turkey for the first division side Sivasspor , for whom he was in the squad in two league games, but was not used. After a year without competitive games, Toprak left Turkey again and in January 2011 switched to the then Swiss second division club FC Schaffhausen , who had to move into the third division at the end of the 2010/11 season. Toprak had previously come to 13 appearances in the Challenge League, he completed another 23 games in the third division. After a year and a half, Toprak left Switzerland and remained without a club for six months before returning to his youth club FV Ravensburg in early 2013. In mid-2018 Toprak moved to the national league club VfB Friedrichshafen . After a season for VfB, he ended his active career.
