The Hathway Point is a headland on the north coast of Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3 km south-southwest of Siddons Point and immediately west of Lukovit Point on the banks of Hero Bay .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2019. It was named after the British geologist Ben Hathway from the British Antarctic Survey , who worked on the Byers Peninsula and Cape Shirreff from 1993 to 1994 and created a geological map of the Byers Peninsula.
