history

Reports from abroad were published for the first time in the weekly newspaper " Relation aller Fürhaben und Gedenckworthigen Historien " ( Relation of all fathers and memorable histories ) by the entrepreneur Johann Carolus from Prague , Rome , Venice , Strasbourg and Cologne , primarily for merchants. With the rise in the level of education, especially in the 19th century, there was an increasing demand for reports from abroad. The Morse code and the laying of submarine cables made for a reduction in the transmission paths. The 1st and 2nd World War and globalization also ensured a further increase in demand. A further spread took place with the introduction of radio and television . Today's development is shaped by private homepages and blogs .
