The house at Hauptstraße 39 (also called "Dresens Fahrradhaus") is a listed, historic building and is located in the pedestrian zone of the district town of Bergheim in the Rhein-Erft district .

Building history and architecture

The delightful Art Nouveau house dates from the end of the 19th or beginning of the 20th century. For the year 1911, the master saddler Wilhelm Dresen is known as the owner. After the First World War , his son Josef set up a bicycle shop in this house, which was a new and lucrative business at the time.
