description

The two-storey winegrower's house, which is under monument protection , is solidly built on both storeys, only a partition wall on the ground floor consists of half-timbering with clay infills that still exist today. The ground floor is plastered and has five window axes on the south side, the upper floor is boarded up. On top of it sits a high hipped roof , which has been given a new roof skin , but the roof structure is still original. Only a few longitudinally stiffening beams were probably removed during renovation work.

The partially basement house stands on a small, barrel-vaulted wine cellar . Inside the building there is a historic staircase made of sandstone steps.

On the right-hand side of the three-axis street view is a single-storey, solidly built and plastered auxiliary building with a gable roof , an arched driveway and a gable hatch in the roof.

history

The building was probably constructed between 1790 and 1810, although it is assumed that it was built in several stages on a single-storey original building with thick walls on the eastern side. The annex to the north was built in the second half of the 19th century.

At the beginning of the 1960s, the bat dormers in the large roof areas were replaced by skylights .
