Coordinates: 59 ° 56 ' N , 16 ° 52' O Heby is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province Lan Uppsala and the historical province Uppland . The main town of the municipality is Heby .
history
Until December 31, 2006 the municipality belonged to the province of Västmanland County . The move to Uppsala County was decided in 2005 after the majority of the population voted in favor of the move in a 1998 referendum .
