Heiße Ecke - The St. Pauli Musical ( hot corner for short ) is a musical that has been performed in the Schmidt Theater on Hamburg's Reeperbahn since 2003 .

All of St. Pauli meets at the “Heiße Ecke” snack bar: the Pinneberger boys Mikie, Frankie and Pitter, the lovers Straube, the fence Henning, Hannelore from the night shift or the whores Nadja, Sylvie and Martina. The "hot corner" is therefore a meeting point for people of different origins, interests and preferences. Great love or intrigue emerges at the snack bar. The colorful life on the Reeperbahn is presented in 22 songs in a time window of 24 hours.

Former FC St. Pauli club president and owner of the Schmidt-Theater, Corny Littmann, will direct . Since the premiere in 2003, over 2 million people have seen the piece. The nine actors per performance slip into over 50 different roles during the show.

Other venues
A production for open-air stages was performed on the Waldbühne Kloster Oesede in Georgsmarienhütte from 2008 . In 2017 it was on the program for the tenth and last time. The play was on the program at the Bad Bentheim open-air theater in 2013 and 2014. The open-air theaters in Herdringen in the Sauerland and Barsinghausen (near Hanover) presented the play in 2016. In 2018, it will be performed by the Goethe open-air theater in Porta Westfalica .
Another production has been running since December 9, 2016 under the direction of Susanne Heydenreich in the Stuttgart theater in the old town .
